Performance evaluation of Various Ad hoc routing protocols in IP, throughput and FIFO using Qualnet in hilly Terrains for VANET

چکیده

VANET in hilly terrains suffers frequent signal breakdown, interferences and other hinderances, affecting QoS (Quality of service). In this paper various Ad hoc routing protocols are compared for IP, Throughput FIFO taking to consideration parameters real traffic scenarios like altitude, nodes, speed, data size & weather mobility model using Qualnet as a simulation tool at higher altitude 1970m. Since network layers covers FIFO, hence comparison AODV DYMO (Reactive), OLSR (Proactive) ZRP (hybrid) helps make right selection improve terrains. Varying shows that the proactive protocol performs more efficiently
